Saudi Arabia's 'Sleeping Prince' Dies After 20 Years in Coma

Nigeria TV Info reports: Prince Al-Waleed bin Khaled bin Talal Al Saud, who suffered a brain haemorrhage and internal injuries in a 2005 car crash at age 15, has passed away after nearly 20 years in a coma. He never regained full consciousness and remained on a ventilator at King Abdulaziz Medical City in Riyadh. His father, Prince Khaled bin Talal Al Saud, confirmed the heartbreaking news on X, quoting a verse from the Qur’an and expressing sorrow. Before the accident, the prince had been studying at a military college in London. Despite his condition, Prince Khaled refused repeated calls to withdraw life support, holding on to hope for recovery.
