The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, and the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Akeem Owoade, have been at the center of public discourse as foremost traditionalist and Yoruba cultural icon, Chief Ifayemi Elebuibon, cautioned prominent Yoruba sons and daughters against inciting traditional rulers against one another.

Elebuibon stressed that disunity among monarchs weakens the foundation of Yoruba culture and hinders the race's peace and development. He urged stakeholders to promote harmony, respect, and collaboration among royal fathers for the collective progress of Yorubaland.

The cultural leader called on the people to channel their influence and voices towards unity, warning that rivalry and unnecessary conflicts only serve to divide the race at a time when collective strength is most needed.
