CreditPRO Finance Secures CBN Licence, Set to Boost SME Growth

LAGOS — CreditPRO Finance Company Limited has officially joined the league of Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN)-licensed financial institutions following its official launch in Lagos last weekend.

The company, which started operations in 2019 under a Lagos State lending licence, said the new CBN approval would allow it to expand its services nationwide and strengthen its support for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

Since inception, CreditPRO Finance has disbursed over ₦20 billion in loans to more than 2,500 SMEs, helping businesses across various sectors scale and grow. With the new licence, the firm plans to deepen its impact on Nigeria’s SME ecosystem and eventually expand operations into other parts of sub-Saharan Africa.

The management of CreditPRO Finance emphasized that their vision goes beyond lending, aiming to create sustainable growth and lasting economic impact for Nigerian entrepreneurs.
