Florida's Surgeon General has officially called for a halt on the use of mRNA COVID-19 vaccines, claiming they are not safe for human use.
In a controversial statement, Dr. Joseph Ladapo, Florida's top health official, urged health authorities to suspend the use of mRNA vaccines like Pfizer and Moderna, citing concerns over potential risks and insufficient safety data.
Dr. Ladapo emphasized that new studies suggest long-term side effects may be more significant than initially believed. He called for more transparency and further investigation into vaccine safety.
Federal health agencies, however, continue to endorse the vaccines, stating that extensive research has proven them to be safe and effective against severe COVID-19.
