The Kaduna State Primary Healthcare Board has revealed plans to launch a Mpox vaccination campaign in selected Local Government Areas hit by the outbreak.

Speaking during a stakeholders’ engagement meeting on Wednesday, Health Educator at the SPHCB, Isah Yusha’u, said the campaign aims to curb the spread of monkeypox and safeguard public health across the state.

According to Yusha’u, the board is taking proactive steps to contain the virus and protect Kaduna residents, especially in LGAs that have recorded a high number of confirmed Mpox cases.
