Atiku Pledges ADC’s Resolve Against “Anti-Democratic Forces” in Tinubu Administration

ABUJA — Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has reaffirmed the African Democratic Congress (ADC) coalition’s commitment to defending Nigerians against what he termed “anti-democratic forces” under President Bola Tinubu’s administration.

Atiku made the statement on Monday via an X post following a meeting with Senator Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto South and former Attorney-General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami.

He emphasized the party’s determination, writing, “We will be unrelenting in defending the rights of every Nigerian being harassed by anti-democratic forces of the Tinubu-led APC administration.”

The former Vice President’s remarks signal a strong opposition stance by the ADC as Nigeria navigates growing political tensions under the current government.
