Rescue teams in Ahmedabad are combing through smoldering rubble and debris in a frantic search for survivors and remains following the tragic crash of Air India Flight AI171, a Boeing 787 aircraft that went down shortly after takeoff en route to London Gatwick. The crash, which struck a densely populated residential area, has claimed the lives of over 240 people. On board were 169 Indians, 53 Britons, 7 Portuguese, and 1 Canadian.
