The Nigerian Ministry of Health has launched a new nationwide campaign aimed at reducing the spread of malaria. The initiative, called “Healthy Homes, Healthy Future,” will distribute free mosquito nets to over 10 million households in high-risk areas across the country.

As part of the campaign, healthcare workers will visit local communities to provide education on malaria prevention and early detection of symptoms. The Ministry emphasized that malaria continues to be a leading cause of illness and death in Nigeria, and prevention is key to saving lives.

Citizens are encouraged to use the provided mosquito nets and seek medical attention promptly if they experience any symptoms of malaria.
