Tinubu Reassures Global Community of Nigeria’s Commitment to Peace and Stronger Partnerships

Welcomes 21 Newly Appointed Envoys to Nigeria

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has reaffirmed Nigeria’s dedication to advancing global peace, harmony, and shared prosperity, stating that the nation remains committed to strengthening international partnerships to address emerging global challenges.

The President gave the assurance on Thursday at the Council Chamber of the State House, Abuja, where he received Letters of Credence from 17 ambassadors and four high commissioners newly posted to Nigeria.

President Tinubu urged the diplomats to work closely with Nigeria’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs to deepen cooperation in areas of mutual interest, emphasising that his administration maintains an open-door policy for constructive engagement.

“On behalf of the government and people of Nigeria, I warmly welcome you,”

the President said, congratulating the envoys on their appointments as official representatives of their respective countries. He expressed optimism that their tenure would strengthen bilateral and multilateral ties that support peacebuilding, economic growth, and sustainable development.

President Tinubu further reiterated Nigeria’s readiness to collaborate with global partners on security, trade, climate action, technology, and other key areas that drive international stability.
