Nigeria TV Info reports that Abdullahi Hussaini, the vigilante leader in Wase Local Government Area of Plateau State, has reaffirmed their commitment to fighting bandits and kidnappers, vowing that they will never back down despite the tragic loss of many members. On Monday, more than 70 vigilantes were ambushed and killed in Kukawa community, Kanam, and Bunyun village in Wase. The Nigeria TV Info gathered that the victims were part of a large group of local security volunteers who had mobilized to raid the hideouts of armed bandits following years of repeated attacks on communities across Wase LGA. While reacting to the deadly ambush, Hussaini, who personally took part in the counterattack on Sunday, admitted the heavy casualties and injuries suffered by the group but emphasized that their resolve remains unshaken.
