Nigeria TV Info reports:
The Office of the President of Nigeria has stated that the remarks made by Vice President Kashim Shettima last Thursday at the public presentation of a new book authored by former Attorney General of the Federation, Mohammed Bello Adoke (SAN), have no connection whatsoever with the ongoing political developments in the country or with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's constitutionally guided decisions.
Speaking yesterday, one of the President’s senior aides on media and communications, Stanley Nkwocha, clarified that the reports circulating on social media were outright falsehoods and misrepresentations. These reports suggested that Shettima was drawing a comparison between his experience as Governor of Borno State during the administration of Goodluck Jonathan and the current situation involving Governor Siminalayi Fubara under President Tinubu.
Nkwocha explained that the Vice President’s comments were taken out of context and misinterpreted, urging Nigerians not to believe or be swayed by unfounded and misleading reports.
