Nigeria TV Info reports:
At least 29 Palestinians, including six children, have been confirmed dead following a series of Israeli air strikes on Sunday, according to Gaza’s civil defence agency. One of the strikes targeted a water distribution point, compounding the humanitarian crisis in the war-torn region. Civil defence spokesman Mahmud Bassal told AFP that Gaza City suffered multiple overnight and early morning bombings that killed eight civilians—among them women and children—and left many others injured. Another devastating strike hit a family residence near the Nuseirat refugee camp, south of Gaza City, resulting in what Bassal described as “10 martyrs and several injured.” These attacks occurred amid a week of indirect ceasefire negotiations in Qatar between Israel and Hamas, which appear to have reached a stalemate.
