Nigeria TV Info –
The Senate has issued a stern warning to the suspended Senator representing Kogi Central, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, cautioning her against any attempt to forcibly resume her legislative functions on Tuesday. This warning was conveyed by the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Media and Public Affairs, Senator Yemi Adaramodu, in a statement released on Sunday.

Adaramodu stressed that the Senate has not received any valid or subsisting court order compelling the immediate reinstatement of Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan. He reiterated the Senate’s unwavering commitment to following due process and upholding the rule of law.

“The Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria wishes to reaffirm, for the third time, that there is no subsisting court order mandating the Senate to recall Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan before the expiration of her suspension,” Adaramodu declared.

This development underscores the ongoing tension surrounding the senator’s suspension and the legislative body's stance on discipline and adherence to legal protocols.
