FG Unveils New Curriculum for Basic, Secondary, and Technical Schools
Abuja – The Federal Government has introduced a new curriculum framework for basic, senior secondary, and technical education, aimed at reducing content overload and improving the overall quality of learning in Nigerian schools.
In a statement released yesterday by the Director of Press and Public Relations at the Federal Ministry of Education, the Minister of State for Education, Prof. Suwaiba Sai’d Ahmad, announced the development.
She explained that the new curriculum is designed to streamline subjects, promote practical learning, and better prepare students with the skills needed for higher education, entrepreneurship, and the modern workforce.
The Federal Ministry of Education noted that the framework is part of ongoing reforms to strengthen Nigeria’s education sector and ensure it meets global standards.
