ABUJA — The Director General of the Youth in Parliament Forum (YIPF), Tony Nwulu, has announced that 2,000 Nigerian youths are set to benefit from free training in electric vehicle (EV) maintenance and manufacturing.
The training programme, launched in partnership with CAWIN Mobility Limited, was unveiled in Abuja as part of a broader initiative to empower young people with technical skills critical for Nigeria’s transition to renewable energy and green transportation.
According to Nwulu, the project aims to equip participants with hands-on knowledge in the fast-emerging EV sector, positioning them for future job opportunities while contributing to sustainable development.
He stressed that the move will not only boost youth empowerment but also enhance Nigeria’s preparedness for the global shift toward clean energy and eco-friendly mobility.
