UK PM Condemns Russia’s Strikes on Ukraine, Says Putin ‘Not Serious About Peace’

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer has strongly condemned Russia’s latest barrage of air strikes on Ukraine, describing the attacks as proof that President Vladimir Putin has no genuine interest in peace.

In a statement on Sunday, Starmer said he was “appalled” by the overnight assault on Kyiv and other Ukrainian cities, which he described as brutal and cowardly.

“These cowardly strikes show that Putin believes he can act with impunity. He is not serious about peace,” the Prime Minister declared.

The strikes, which hit several regions across Ukraine, are the latest in a series of escalations in Russia’s ongoing war, sparking renewed calls from Western leaders for unity in support of Kyiv.
