Nigeria TV Info – Power Outage Hits Kaduna Town Due to Collapsed Transmission Tower

Kaduna, Nigeria – Residents of Kaduna Town are currently experiencing a power outage following the collapse of a 132kV transmission tower that disrupted electricity supply to the Kaduna Town Transmission Station.

In a statement released on 19th September 2025, Kaduna Electric assured the public that the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) team is working diligently with relevant stakeholders to restore normal power supply as soon as possible.

“Dear Esteemed Customers, the outage currently being experienced is due to a collapsed 132kV transmission tower. TCN team is already working assiduously with relevant stakeholders to ensure that normal supply is restored as soon as possible. We sincerely regret the inconvenience caused and appreciate your patience and understanding,” the statement read.

Authorities have urged residents to remain calm while repair efforts continue.
