South Africa, Rwanda issued warning as Super Eagles star believes in Nigeria’s World Cup comeback

Super Eagles goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali has expressed strong optimism about Nigeria’s chances of qualifying for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, despite their current fourth-place position in Group C with just seven points after six matches. Acknowledging the team’s slow and disappointing start, Nwabali emphasized that the Super Eagles are far from out of contention, as there are still four crucial fixtures and 12 points up for grabs. He stated that while Rwanda and South Africa are currently ahead, Nigeria’s experience, resilience, and determination will be key to turning the tide and securing a spot at the global tournament in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
