Victor Osimhen is set to undergo medical tests as part of Napoli’s preparations for the upcoming season, with the team scheduled to begin pre-season training between July 14 and 15.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Napoli were compelled to include the Nigerian striker in their pre-season plans amid ongoing uncertainty about his future. Osimhen recently returned from a loan spell at Galatasaray and has already turned down a lucrative €30 million-per-year offer from Saudi club Al-Hilal, as reported by Football Italia.

While Al-Hilal remain keen on securing the 25-year-old’s signature, no agreement has been reached. Should negotiations continue to stall, Osimhen will officially join the rest of the Napoli squad for pre-season training.
