Nigeria TV Info News Report
French football star Kylian Mbappé has officially withdrawn his complaint of moral harassment against his former club, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG). According to his lawyer, Pierre-Olivier Sur, the civil action has been dropped just days before Real Madrid, Mbappé’s current team, faces PSG in the Club World Cup semi-final.
Mbappé had filed the complaint after alleging he was mistreated at the start of the 2023/24 season. The Paris prosecutor’s office confirmed last month that an investigation had begun. The striker claimed he was deliberately isolated by PSG, forced to train with players the club intended to sell, after he declined to sign a contract extension.
This practice has drawn widespread criticism and is not unique to Mbappé. The French players’ union had already raised concerns about such treatment and lodged a separate complaint in 2023.
