Nigeria TV Info reports:
Arsenal have completed the signing of Denmark international midfielder Christian Norgaard from Brentford in a deal worth up to £15 million. The 31-year-old joins the Gunners on an initial £10 million fee, with an additional £5 million tied to performance-based add-ons.
Norgaard, who joined Brentford from Fiorentina in 2019, made 196 appearances and served as club captain, becoming a crucial figure in the team’s midfield. He has now signed a two-year contract with Arsenal, with the option to extend for a third year.
This marks Arsenal’s third signing of the summer, following the arrivals of Martin Zubimendi and Kepa Arrizabalaga, both from Spain.
Speaking after the move, Norgaard admitted he got “almost emotional,” describing the transfer as a dream come true and expressing excitement at finally getting the chance to play Champions League football.
