Entebbe, Uganda – July 2025For the first time, Nigeria’s national cricket team is proudly participating in the prestigious Pearl of Africa T20 Series held in Entebbe, Uganda. The tournament runs from July 17 to July 27, 2025, featuring top teams from Uganda, Kenya, Namibia A, UAE, and now Nigeria.

🌟 Nigeria's Performance So Far

Nigeria joined the tournament as the fifth team on July 3, 2025.

In their opening match on July 17, Nigeria faced Kenya but lost narrowly by 18 runs. Nigeria scored 88/9 in 16 overs, while Kenya made 106 runs.

Prosper Useni stood out with an impressive 36 runs, the highest for Nigeria in the match.

The next match was scheduled for July 18 against Uganda, starting at 09:30 AM local time.
