The Nigerian Tourism Institute (NIHOTOUR) has urged the full implementation of the 2022 NIHOTOUR Establishment Act.

According to the institute, these reforms aim to professionalize the tourism sector, safeguard the rights of workers, and improve the overall quality of services.

Special attention is placed on cultural and religious tourism, which remain underutilized strengths of Nigeria’s economy and could generate significant revenue.
