The Concerned Christian Youth Forum (CCYF) has announced a peaceful protest set for May 21st at the Unity Fountain, Maitama, Abuja, from 10 am to 2 pm. The protest is in response to growing attacks on the Christian faith and its leaders.
Speaking on behalf of the group, Convener James Paul Adama highlighted the increasing disrespect for Christianity, pointing to Omoyele Sowore and his allies as key actors fueling religious tension. “Our faith is under attack,” Adama said. “This is a deliberate move to create division, funded by external interests.”
The CCYF also aims to draw the government’s attention to the widespread killings across the country. Free transportation will be provided across Abuja and the six area councils of the FCT.
Christian youths in the FCT are urged to come out en masse to express their grievances and stand united in defense of their faith.
